LightingCompact Flourescent Bulbs (CFLs) The selection of bulb type depends on what you need. The number of lumens indicates how bright the light is and the Std. Incand. Equivalent tells you the wattage of incandescent bulb that would give you the same amount of light. Pick whatever best suits your needs and look at the gpm (gallons per minute) number for water savings.

Faucet Aerators For bathroom sinks, we recommend picking the lowest possible gpm aerator. For kitchen sinks, we recommend that you don’t go under 1.5 if not 2. This is because at 0.5 gpm it would take over a minute to fill up a pot enough to make pasta. Follow this link, and click on ‘Water: Faucet Aerators’ for a selection of aerators
