Within a few weeks after the audit is completed, you will receive a customized report of the auditor’s evaluation of your home. Here is an outline of what is contained in that report:
The report begins with two important summaries
- Estimated Annual Energy Profile – a comparison of your home to a typical home of similar size, construction and location
- Estimated Carbon Footprint Profile – a summary of your home’s contribution of carbon to the atmosphere
Followed by
- Home Energy Report Card™ – a graded summary of your home’s most intensive components of energy losses
- Homework – an overview of recommended improvements along with estimated annual utility cost savings
- Component Analysis – a separate, more detailed discussion of each component with specific recommendations for improvements
